Comprised of four separate properties all bookable individually, when combined this epic group stay gives you exclusive use of a private, gated courtyard complex tucked away in the heart of St Ives, within easy striking distance of beaches, bars, shops, and restaurants.
It won’t surprise you to learn that the collection of holiday properties is indeed the town’s old police station, hence the quirky names of the individual properties. Thankfully these days spending a night in the cells is a much more comfortable affair!
This large Cornish holiday property is perfect for reunions, family gatherings, or special birthdays. It’s also an ideal base for a group of wedding guests, with plenty of space to get ready. The beauty of The Courtyard is that it brings family and friends together, yet with enough scope for everyone to find their own quiet corner. Of the two smaller properties, The Briefing Room is a cosy couples retreat, while Inspector’s Watch offers two adults and two children their own family bolthole.
The two larger properties (Sergeant’s Retreat and The Old Police Station) both have plenty of space for hosting, with colourful living rooms and modern kitchens to help you feed a crowd!
You won’t need to fight over the gorgeous bedrooms, as there are plenty to go round! Many are ensuite too, so no standing in line for the bathroom as you get ready for a night out…
Each of the four properties has been creatively designed with bold colours and lots of visual interest. You’ll find upcycled furniture, local artwork, and quirky details everywhere you look.
Children will delight in a stay at The Courtyard, whatever the season. In the summer it’s just a short stroll to the local beaches for paddling and rock pool adventures, while Christmas or New Year in St Ives will always be completely magical.
