The Count House
The Count House is a magnificent & unique Victorian house immersed in local art & history. It is within walking-distance from St Ives & its beautiful beaches, and very close Carbis Bay beach. Breath-taking stretches of the South-West coastal path are on your doorstep.

Once owned by world-famous potter Bernard Leach, the house is light & surrounded by nature, has views of the astonishing St. Ives Bay, and has been recently re-decorated to a high standard. It has an amazing floral & vegetable garden and is a short walk from the beautiful Carbis Bay beach.
The Count House has all the facilities you will need to make the most of your holidays. Split into three levels (ground floor, first floor and a loft), the house is spacious, airy, light and full of character.
Ground Floor:
Living room (with woodburner) , dining room, kitchen (also with woodburner), utility room, and a library.
First Floor:
Two spacious double bedrooms and an impressive and elegant master bedroom (with open fireplace). There is also a big family bathroom with toilet, wet room and bathtub. WC and an en-suite shower in one of the bedrooms.
The loft:
A big space which can be used as a play area for children or a bedroom. The rooms are all very spacious and light, and the master bedroom enjoys sea views. There are some surprises for art and history lovers like for example, original Bernard Leach bathroom tiles or the wooden doors, hand-crafted and engineered by Shoji Hamada.

Secluded garden to front of cottage. Wooden outside table and BBQ.
