Sailors’ Rest is new to our portfolio. Arranged as a three-bedroom main house with a separate one-bedroom annexe, the house has been imaginatively renovated to an extremely high standard. The result is a warm and stylish holiday home, with an elegant and contemporary feel.

Sailors’ Rest is a beautifully curated and re-designed seaside house with impeccable attention to detail. The owners have created a holiday house for entertaining and relaxing in equal measure. The house is flooded with natural light, with sea views over St Ives Bay.
The delightful interior has warm Balearic tones, and the wide open spaces flow naturally onto the west facing sun terrace and lawn. The open plan layout offers contemporary finishes, and a relaxed holiday feel.
Arranged as a three-bedroom house and one-bedroom self-contained annexe.
MAIN HOUSE
Entrance hall:
A very welcoming entrance hall with sideboard, an earthy mediterannean palette and wonderful Sisal covered staircase.
Kitchen/Dining Area (Ground Floor)
Stunning room, bathed in light from double aspect french windows opening onto lawn on the north side and terrace on the west side. Contemporary locally made oak kitchen, well equipped with top-end appliances. Large island with induction hob and stools. Dining table with bench seating for 6. Built-in sofa seating with coffee table, and further coffee table with Ercol chairs.

King sized bed. Chest of drawers. Armchair.

Living Room (First Floor)
Flooded with light from all angles, and full of warm textures. Stylish and comfortable L-shaped sofa to seat 6, with further 2-seater sofa. Large wall mounted TV. Spacious, comfortable and inspiring room for familly gatherings.
Master Bedroom & En-suite (First Floor)
Superking sized bed. Wardobe. Sea views looking north over St Ives Bay. En-suite with large enclosed shower cubicle, basin, WC.
ANNEXE
Adjoining the main house, this super annexe has a double bed, kitchen, en-suite shower room and small living area with sofa . A little ‘home-within-the-home’ for those needing privacy and independence from the main party!
Outside:
A wonderful terrace sits on the west side of the main house. BBQ and outside dining area. Plenty of seating and sun-loungers. Lawned area. Parking for two cars.

My family and I have just spent our Christmas time at Sailors Rest ( Carbis Bay ).. I have to say that the home is absolutely impressive. Every detail to ensure that we had a pleasant experience is paid too and the surroundings are fantastic.. thank you so very much and happy 2026.

Fabulous property to stay in. Clean and well equipped. Great,quiet location and as long as you don’t mind hills not far from the train station and beach. We would definitely stay again.

We have just returned from 8 nights at Sailor’s Rest in Carbis Bay and I just wanted to say THANK YOU from us all for a wonderful stay.
Sailor’s Rest is stunning and was absolutely perfect for our family of 7. Spotlessly clean, beautifully styled and decorated, the perfect layout and amenities, and in a fab location. We really couldn’t have asked for much more. The only thing that would make this property even better would be if the garden was fully enclosed.
We will definitely be booking to stay here again.

We stayed at this fabulous house for our family Easter break. Everything has been thought about with such attention to detail from the outdoor hot shower for surfers to the beach sarongs.
The bbq area was a perfect little suntrap.
Carbis bay is a fab location with a stunning beach and the train taking you to St Ives is only a few mins walk away. It’s been very stylishly renovated and we will be back no doubt.

Had an amazing family get together at Sailor’s Rest. The house is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and had everything we needed for a relaxing but fun holiday. The upstairs lounge area has lovely views and allowed us to spread out and have some time to ourselves.
The outside area is quite a sun trap and the sun loungers provided were perfect for catching some rays! The house is a 5 minute walk from a local convenience shop and coffee shop( sells great coffee and pastries), and a short walk to the beach and train station, 5 minute ride into St Ives, saving on parking fees! Would love to revisit 🥰

The house is decorated and styled to a really high standard, everything is super clean and brand new. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. The beach is within walking distance and so is the train station if you wanted to hop over to St Ives. The Cottage Boutique were easily contactable and there is plenty of parking
