Set over two floors, Honest Cottage looks from the outside like a typical fisherman’s cottage but on the inside it’s a different story. Clever décor from the owners demonstrates their passion for style and attention to detail.

Comprising of two bedrooms and one bathroom. A living room/dining area featuring exposed beams made from the salvaged masts and spars from unfortunate shipwrecks. The modern galley kitchen continues the vibrant style through to the lovely decked sun terrace.

Sitting Room/Dining Room (Ground Floor)

Stable-style front door. Coat hooks. Double sofa. 2 armchairs. Flat screen 32” Samsung TV. Dining table to seat 4. Window seat overlooking bustling Fish Street.

Kitchen (Ground Floor)

Integrated full size fridge freezer. Electric oven and hob. Microwave. Integrated Hotpoint washer/dryer and slim-line dishwasher. Stainless steel sink. Gran Gaggia coffee machine (uses ground coffee). Kettle and toaster. Braun hand held blender.

Bedroom 1 (1st Floor)

Double bed. 2 bedside tables with lamps, Window seat. Built-in double wardrobe with hanging space and shelving. Tallboy chest of drawers. 14” flat screen TV.

Bedroom 2 (1st Floor)

Bespoke nautical-themed, built-in full size single bunk beds with reading lights to both. Built-in wardrobe and small chest of drawers.

Bathroom (1st Floor)

Built-in L-shaped bath with integrated shower and glass half shower screen. WC. Vanity basin. Mirrored bathroom cabinet. Heated stainless steel ladder towel rail.

Outside

Sheltered decked yard with table and seating. Retractable washing line.

Nearest public long stay car park is the Island car park.

Gas central heating throughout (thermostat controlled).

There are two steps up into the property. The internal staircase is small and quite steep.

We had a great stay at Honest Cottage. The location is perfect for a stay in St Ives, with choices of beaches, restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The cottage is cosy, clean and tidy and has everything you’ll need to stay, cook and look after yourself. Would stay again!

Loved our stay in this cottage. The location is perfect, with bars, restaurants, shops and multiple beach’s right on the doorstep, yet still very peaceful and quiet when in the property. The cottage is a great size for a couple or a small family, really clean and a lovely little package of goodies was left for our arrival which was a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone visiting St Ives, we’ll certainly book again when in the area.

Honest Cottage is a place I would book myself into again when visiting St Ives. It is not just beautiful and comfortable, but the kitchen is superb. Everything in it is of the highest quality and I loved the wonderful complementary things, like red wine, cheese, gourmet crackers, bread and butter and even canvas shopping bag for your shopping - very charming and generous indeed! I know that when I’m on art course again in the future, this is the place, where I’ll be staying. Thank you Clare, Jane and Michelle.

Highly recommend the cottage. Very well equipped and had all we needed for our stay. Lovely location, a stone’s throw away from beaches and harbour. Lots of beautiful locations nearby. We will certainly be back for another stay 😀
