I stayed in Chywidden with two friends for a long weekend in early November. The cottage is in a fantastic location close to the main town, harbour, beaches, Tate Gallery, and St Ives Bakery (a must-visit), but despite its close proximity to all the amenities is very quiet. Having parking is a real bonus, but the Island car park is just a minute or two's walk away if you bring more than one car and you can book a permit in advance for this or other local car parks for a very reasonable price. The cottage itself was very clean when we arrived and has underfloor heating downstairs, which makes it seriously cosy and welcoming. This is a very comfortable cottage, a real home from home. It has a very well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly think of is provided including tea towels and dishcloths, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, even some spare bin bags and a kitchen roll. Beds are among the most comfortable I've slept in with good quality linens, and all 8 beds were made up so we had plenty of spare bedding and towels. Lovely big shower with on demand hot water! The icing on the cake was the hamper left for us when we arrived: wine, cheese, butter, chutney, crackers, and a loaf of bread - not to mention the bag of gigantic chocolate buttons... local products helping to lure you into the town, as if you need a reason. We loved our autumn getaway and Cottage Boutique were really helpful from (easy online) booking to arrival, responding to questions helpfully and quickly. We would all go back again and can definitely recommend both Chywidden and Cottage Boutique.

Just had a week away staying in Chywidden and it didn’t disappoint , we have stayed there a couple of times before and always found it a great location and a well equipped cottage which is always warm with the underfloor heating. Short walk to everything and not too hilly.
