Never mind views of the harbour and beach, how about staying in a cottage in the harbour ON the beach? (the middle cottage in the photo)

This cottage is rustic and utterly charming.  What it lacks in luxury mod-cons (though it does have everything you'd expect from a Cottage Boutique property!) it more than makes up for in character and location, location, location.

One of a kind, the cottage is one of only 3 cottages in St Ives that are quite literally on the harbour beach, the front door opens to golden sand and the beautiful cornish sea.  A small area of beach (originally a patio, but now covered in sand) just outside the back door is owned by the cottage, and is all yours!

In a north-east gale, on a big spring tide, with a tremendous swell, you may have to sand-bag the back door, batten down the hatches, and defend yourself against the enchroaching cold atlantic waves.

Truly a cottage for a wild, winter break.

N.B. The Lookout is by its nature a 'no frills' property and not a suitable cottage for those seeking accomodation of a luxury standard.  The floor in the kitchen is painted concrete and the kitchen is not of a fitted nature.  The stairs to the kitchen are built from driftwood and although sturdy are steep and winding.  If it is a high end, opulent property you are after then this may not be for you!

Living room with 32" LCD TV/DVD, and sofa-bed.

Private sand covered patio at back of property

All linen/towels are provided.

Electric heaters throughout.

All Electric/Water included in the price.

Friday - Friday bookings.

Well behaved dogs are permitted on the ground floor. (By Prior Arrangement)

Many extras available on request, including a pre-stocked fridge and/or dry hamper.
